We had an experience when we visited. We hadn’t considered going to Hollywood previously.
We had traveled to Miami several times before focusing on Fort Lauderdale and its neighbor, Hollywood.
We loved Hollywood in Florida since it has its distinct vibe.
We loved it so much!

1. Anne Kolb Nature Center
It is one of the top things to do in Hollywood if you enjoy nature.
The Anne Kolb Nature Centre encompasses around 1,500 acres of coastal mangrove wetlands, where rare and endangered flora and animals.
Once here, you’ll come across four unique trails: South Trail, Mud Flat Trail, Fishing Pier Trail, and Lake Trail, all of which are relatively straightforward. You can bring plenty of sunscreen because the rays are fierce here!
Finally, the center offers a boat trip, an exhibition hall with diverse nature-themed artworks and exhibitions, and a fishing pier, to name a few.
2. Charnow Park
If you’re searching for a fun destination for the kids, Charnow Park is a must-see.
It is a fun park just a few steps away from the ocean.
As a result, when the kids become bored of the sand, you can take them to this park!
It now has a pickleball court, sprinklers, plenty of shade, and picnic tables.
When you’re ready to eat, take a short stroll to Florio’s Restaurant, one of the city’s best Italian eateries.
3. Yellow Green Farmers’ Market
You would not think of a farmers market as one of the things to do in Hollywood, Florida, especially in a beach town.
That would be incorrect; the weekend warehouse features hundreds of merchants selling anything from local fruit to organic delights and treats.
Furthermore, if you are seeking a gift or souvenir to take home, here is the place to go. You will also discover crystal, clothing, and bespoke art dealers!
4. Hollywood Beach
As I previously stated, Hollywood Beach is located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale in Florida, which implies one epic thing. It has magnificent beaches! It’s virtually a given in this part of Florida, and Hollywood does not disappoint.
Furthermore, it’s an excellent spot to stay. There are several hotels and lodges along the beachfront where you feel the Hollywood feeling.
Once here, try your hand at kite-boarding, paddle-boarding, or simply getting in the sea for a swim.
If you’re an early riser, you’ll enjoy the best sunrise views across Hollywood Beach. Try to get breakfast on the oceanfront terrace nice and early. You will not be disappointed.

If you’re searching for a calm spot away from the noise and bustle of the rest of the city, you might want to visit Anniversary Park.
Hollywood, FL, has a rich history, and this park is in the historic district.
You can bring your camera since the park is there for its lovely oak trees and magnolias.
If you need to cool off, take a few minutes to relax under one of these trees.
In addition, the park is ideal for families.
There is a little playground that offers lots of shade.
You may also choose to play chess at one of the many tables.

Even while the Spark does not have the same amenities as other options, it provides an excellent opportunity to unwind.

You can stop at Ginger Bay Cafe for some delicious Jamaican cuisine.
Alternatively, if you want to visit a throwback boutique, stop into Vinyl Asylum Records or other thrift businesses on the block.
You can take this as a challenge and try to visit them all!
8.Downtown Hollywood Mural Project
Seeing the Downtown Hollywood Mural Project was a highlight of our trip to Hollywood, Florida!
Whether you are an artist or not, you will enjoy seeing all of the commissioned street art that fills the pulsing core of Hollywood.
It’s a must-see destination, especially when artists from all over the world are giving their work for free.

9. Holland Park
You might want to check out Holland Park if you prefer something quieter.
This park is at the end of a quiet neighborhood. It is much less crowded than some other spots.
Even though it lacks the variety of some of the other parks on this list, it nevertheless provides an opportunity to unwind.
You might like to explore the wooden boardwalk or run along one of the twisting routes.
It is also an excellent occasion to get out of your boat and explore the coastlines of the Intracoastal Waterway. It is an excellent opportunity for canoeing or kayaking because the park has numerous boat launch places.
10.Hollywood North each Park
Hollywood North Beach Park is near the West Lake South Trail and the beach!
After finishing the West Lake South Trail, you can head directly over to relax in the park and prepare for a dip.
With almost 50 acres to explore, it’s one of the things to do in Hollywood for a relaxing day.
Trust me, you’ll easily spend a few hours exploring this area, especially with all of the small cafés and businesses nearby. Just be sure to get some BBQ from Zack’s Snacks. Delicious.
11. ArtsPark at Young Circle
Arts Park in Young Circle has so many stuff and attractions.
It is a 10-acre park with many fun places and activities for children and adults.
There will be musical performances, fountains, strolling routes, a splash pad, an art gallery, and eateries.
Several food trucks and local sellers provide the best goodies. You can easily combine a visit here with a walk down Hollywood Boulevard!
12. Hollywood Boardwalk
Another coastal jewel, the Hollywood Boardwalk, runs along one of Florida’s most beautiful coasts.
You may walk for hours, taking up the sun and the salty sea air.
Keep in mind that the sun might be harsh throughout the middle of the day. So, plan a walk early in the morning or late in the afternoon when it’s considerably cooler.
13.West Lake Park
If you enjoy kayaking, one of the things to do in Hollywood, Florida, is to visit West Lake Park, just off the shoreline.
You know, there are plenty of waterways here to put your talents to the test and learn the art of bobbing without colliding with other kayakers.
That is the challenge. I always smack into Yaya, causing a few splashes from his paddle! Anyway, I’m hoping you’ll be a better kayaker than me.
